SSAT/ISEE/UTS Prep Private Session - STANDARD

For students who benefit from the personal attention and schedule flexibility of one-to-one instruction, PREPSKILLS® is proud to offer our full SSAT STANDARD program on a private basis in the comfort of your own home.

  • 30 hour program service (3 hours COMPUTEST™ online diagnostic SSAT test, Six - 3 hour in-home sessions (accommodations may be possible – call us with your requests), 3 hour SSAT Simulated Test, a 3 hour Résumé, Application & Interview Workshop, up to one hour of phone/email consultation with Joanna Severino, Founder & President, and a 2 hour complimentary client education seminar regarding the SSAT and private school admission process.)
  • Our exclusive, unique program focuses on bridging the gap between the content learned at school and the test-taking strategies and skills required to maximize scoring potential.  Content and skills practice include Reading Comprehension, Mathematics and Verbal - Synonym and Analogies, and Persuasive Essay Writing.
  • Comprehensive materials include (Course book with skill-building exercises, vocabulary flashcards, 2 full length practice tests, quizzes, handouts, PREPKIT™, and online resources)

  • COMPUTEST™ online diagnostic
    • An online test developed exclusively by PREPSKILLS® - The diagnostic test is organized for Lower and Upper level students so that it parallels the sections and format of the official SSAT*, including time limits. The main purpose of the diagnostic test is to help the teacher and student discover weaknesses and strengths in terms of strategy, content, skills and time management. Parents are provided with detailed progress reports. Teachers will work with students to devise a plan to ensure that your child takes the necessary steps in order to maximize his/her scoring potential.
  • PREPSKILLS® Simulated Test (under real test writing conditions)
    • Students have the opportunity to relieve anxiety and increase confidence by writing a SSAT* simulated test at the end of the course (Upper or Lower level test). The test parallels the Verbal, Reading Comprehension, Quantitative and Essay sections of the SSAT*. Parents are provided with a progress report outlining student scores for each section.
  • BONUS Résumé, Application & Interview Workshop
    • Students are introduced to important aspects of the admission process through this 3 hour skill development workshop. Students build confidence and participate in a one-on-one interview. (materials included)
  • FREE Parent Information Seminar
    • Parents are encouraged to attend an Information Seminar to understand the benefits of test preparation and gain an understanding of the test results. Parents will also receive valuable information about the admission process.

  • 42 hour program service (3 hours COMPUTEST™ online diagnostic SSAT test, Thirteen - 2 hour in-home sessions, 3 hour SSAT midterm Simulated Test, 3 hour SSAT Simulated Test, a 3 hour Résumé, Application & Interview Workshop, up to two hours of phone/email consultation with Joanna Severino, Founder & President, and a 2 hour complimentary client education seminar regarding the SSAT and private school admission process.)

Tutoring Blocks

Private, personalized in-home instruction is available for additional specific test-taking practice during or post our PREPSKILLS® program.  Whether you are preparing for the SSAT* , SAT, or any other entrance or school examination, PREPSKILLS® will help each student develop an individualized testing plan to maximize scoring potential.
